Join Campus + Community Planning as they launch into a summer of fun and celebration at UBC on June 6!
Campus + Community Planning is celebrating the start of summer, and the installation of pop rocks at UBC, with a beach-themed BBQ for faculty, staff, students and residents! Be sure to stop by for hotdogs & lemonade, pop rocks & sand, live a cappella and Beach Boys favourites! We hope to see you there!
Who: summer students, staff & faculty, residents & guests!
What: Hotdogs & lemonade, pop rocks & sand, live “a cappella” & DJ Beach music.
Why: We’re celebrating UBC’s incredibly diverse community with a launch of the pop rocks installation and a preview of 100 in 1 Day, a global community-led festival.
When: Friday, June 6, 11-1pm.

What are pop rocks?
Remember the giant bean-bag like structures, formerly seen on Robson Street? They're here to stay for the summer, and the perfect place to hang out, study, or catch some sun!
