Tough Called, and UBC’s Toddlers Answered

Last Sunday, UBC hosted its first annual Tough Toddler event, a day for toddlers to get active and show off their skills in running, jumping, tumbling, and fun! Even the weather forecast didn’t stop our tots and families from having a blast! Hosted in partnership with the School of Kinesiology Active Kids Program, we brought a wide range of activities at varying skill levels designed for the entire family to enjoy, right in the comfort of one of UBC’s own Osborne gymnasium.

From the giant “wipeout” style bouncy castle, the inflated two-level ninja obstacle course, to the  gymnastics set taught by Active Kids staff, no toddler was spotted in their stroller.

To top it all off, we had a face painting station, a live musical duo, and a food truck on site for families to catch their breath between all their activities.

All in all, the event was a huge success - thanks to all the families from near and far who came out to take part in an unforgettable day of fun!

We look forward to seeing everyone who came out again next year!
