Once again, UTown@UBC and the UNA have teamed up to promote active, sustainable transportation in our community, and this time the celebration is campus-wide! We’re promoting safe and sustainable transportation at UBC throughout May; so lace up your walking shoes, jump on your skateboard, bike or scooter, and Walk ‘n Roll to School May 5-9!
From bike safety checks, to RCMP speedwatch to a cycling rodeo and more, there will be lots of great activities and safety and education initiatives throughout the week. Check out the Walk 'n Roll page for more information on how to participate, and for a full schedule of events.
Don't forget to keep an eye out for our yellow-clad volunteers, who will be leading walking school buses for students from the campus neighbourhoods to University Hill Elementary School each morning!
