Light up the night with the UTown@UBC Youth Leadership Club!
Join the UTown@UBC Youth Leadership Club for a night of fun activities, crafts and warm drinks in the dark! Inspired by a project created by students in the CityStudio Vancouver program, our Youth Leadership group will be bringing the UTown@UBC community together for a second year to light up a dark and under-utilized space on campus. This project builds on Jane Jacob’s “eyes on the streets” philosophy, which supports the idea that an active public realm is safer and healthier for communities.
Lighting up a portion of Rhododendron Woods just south of The Old Barn there will be fun for the whole family including glow in the dark Frisbee and soccer, illuminated walking trails, glow in the dark painting for kids.
