Since War Memorial Gym first opened in 1951, UBC has hosted a ceremony commemorating Remembrance Day. This year marks 63 years of Remembrance Day ceremonies at UBC, and 100 years since the starts of World War I
This special ceremony will take place at War Memorial Gym on Tuesday, November 11, starting at 10:00 am, and it is an opportunity for faculty, staff, students and members of the on and off-campus community to honour and remember all those who served in times of war, military conflict and peace.
