Move UBC is a month-long campaign focused on encouraging our community members to reduce sedentary behaviour and fit movement into their day in fun and easy ways—this campaign exemplifies UBC’s vision for a physically active campus, outlined in the UBC Action Framework to Increase Physical Activity and Reduce Sedentary Behaviour. As UBC strives to become a health promoting university, we recognize the vital role that physical activity plays in supporting the wellbeing of our community, creating a thriving campus community and helping our faculty, staff and students achieve their full potential.
