Slackline Session at UBC Botanical Garden

Test your balance skills (and nerves) at the UBC Botanical Garden Slackline Session!

On Saturday, April 11, from 10am-4pm, experienced slackliners from Slackline UBC will be on-hand to instruct and guide beginners on low-strung lines in a beautiful garden setting. Intermediate and advanced slackliners (who dare) can test their abilities and progress on higher slacklines throughout the trees.

What is slacklining? It's a growing sport that involves walking across a piece of nylon webbing tenioned between two points.

This is also a great opportunity to explore the renowned Greenheart Canopy Walkway at no charge! The Canopy Walkway is a 310-metre long aerial trail system suspended above the forest floor providing a spectacular view of the treetop canopy and sprawling garden below.

We are very proud to support this awesome event with a UTown@UBC Community Grant!
